Clarksburg Baseball and Softball has 40 current teams, including a recreational division and select(travel) teams,.Beyond the immediate area, we also draw players from Boyds, Damascus, Gaithersburg, Germantown, and Olney, as the organization continues to grow each Spring and Fall season. With the opening of several new Clarksburg area schools, plus more on the way, practices and home games are in Clarksburg or Germantown with exclusively in-house games played at the 4U(T-ball) & 6U(coach pitch) levels. At the 8U(machine pitch) level, inter-league play begins with other local organizations, and sometimes culminates with a trip to the Little League World Series. Our all volunteer organization of coaches, managers, and board members strive to teach baseball fundamentals, make the game fun, proactively involve parents, put reasonably competitive teams on the field, all while keeping costs lower than other area youth sports organizations. We accomplish this goal with a combination of fundraisers, charitable donations, and the sponsorship of several dozen area businesses, all of whom receive an acknowledgement plaque in addition to our gratitude for helping to facilitate year round, community based, youth baseball and softball viable in our neighborhood.
