Mulch Fundraiser – Thank You!

Thanks to Clarksburg Baseball parents and friends…

Our 2013 mulch fundraiser was very successful, and the league wants to congratulate the parents who helped with the fundraising efforts by selling, delivering, or purchasing mulch for the league. We sold two tractor trailer loads of mulch throughout the community in less than a month, which is very impressive! Thanks to all the volunteers who participated and we look forward to even more sales next spring.

We have high-quality brown hardwood mulch available for immediate home delivery!  The cost is $5 per 3.0 cubic foot bag, and delivery to your home is fast and FREE!  All proceeds from the mulch sale go to Clarksburg Baseball, so take care of a Spring necessity, save yourself a trip and a dirty car, and help a good cause!  To arrange for delivery, please contact Alan Friedman via cell-phone at 240-678-7701 or e-mail at alanr1109@yahoo.com

Updated Rule Books and Inclement Weather Policies

Updated rules for the Spring 2013 are available for all coaches, parents and players.  Please visit the rules page here: http://www.clarksburgbaseball.com/?page_id=96

As a reminder, Montgomery County has established an inclement weather policy for which Clarksburg Baseball follows.  The league will check the County’s hotline to determine if fields are closed and will let their coaches know.  The County updates fields during the week around 2pm and on the weekends by 7:30am.  If the field are closed, no one should be playing on them.
